HoHoHo --Christmas Polka Dots

I was feeling the need for festive RED polka dots .... which led to adding an H ... which became a series of Ho Ho HOooooo's. These were then stitched on vintage sheet music and placed along the wall in black box frames, with more (you can never have to much!) sheet music rambling along behind the frames. The possibilities are endless : I'm now adding red felt polka dots to the mantle above the fireplace, the runner down the dining table and ... . just about anything that doesn't move.

Just Send Money .. .. .

Just because .. . I'm feeling the need to lighten up about: Money! It's all we hear about and it's always bad news. Since these pieces of paper seem to have so little value, I decided to make some Christmas ornaments / cards with them. Don't you feel George looks so much cheerier with those red curls? For all my friends who've said
"just send money" ---- I hope these will be a small giggle.

I've just started this new series and I'm already having SUCH FUN with the concept! The Fractured Genius series of composers is a natural for the vintage sheet music (my favorite mixed media ingredient).
Each piece of sheet music is
individually stitched , printed and has metallic paint added.
