Passing Notes
Thoughtful gestures are always treasured .. . . but, never more so than when
one mourns the loss of a loved one. This past week was filled with moments
both sorrowful and sweet.
Nurturing food, beautiful flowers - gestures of kindness around every corner.
Each one noted and inscribed indelibly on so many hearts.
Know that all of your kind comments were so very appreciated.
I'm back in my world and just starting to catch up ... .
a "proper post" will come along soon.

Notes on Today's Images :
These photos are from my own snapshots of notes
sent to Robert Altman's family after his death. His daughter
(my dearest friend) and I sat on the floor of his closet reading stacks of
cards - all so beautiful in their personal remembrances.
The images above are portions of the sweet note from another
film legend .. . now gone .

So true Judith....I hope you are feeling a little better, xv.
My condolences on the loss of your dear friend.
Thinking of you.
Catherine
Take it easy dear girl...
Welcome back sugar...remember that tears of grief are a different chemical compound than other tears...more cleansing. Grieve as you need to, cry until you stop and tell anyone who tells you different to go to hell! smooches...
glad you're returning here ... and hope the healing seeds have taken root.
Hello Judy, I am finally back in Madrid, after a fairytale 4 days at a friend's place in the country side.
I found a house that has been closed for 2 months, so you can imagine all the housecleaning...
But first things first, I wanted to find out how you are and to send greetings from Spain.
Lovely notes you photographed. Robert Altman was one of my favorite film directors. And Paul Newman????
